BDI stands for pioneering technology development, research & innovation, resource-saving processes for upgrading residual and waste materials, chemical recycling, and industrial plant engineering. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed Junior Process Engineer and a Senior Process Engineer who would like to contribute their expertise in all facets of plant engineering and operation to our future-oriented company.
Your area of responsibility
Depending on your experience, you will join our projects either as a supporting team member (junior) or as a lead (senior):
- Planning, development, and optimization of process engineering plants
- Process engineering planning and design of plants and equipment (basic engineering)
- Further development of process flows
- Creation of energy and mass balances, P&ID diagrams, and equipment specifications
- Process simulations with ChemCAD
- Execution of detailed engineering
- Support during commissioning
Your profile
- Education: Master’s degree in process engineering, environmental engineering, or similar
- Professional experience

- Junior level: Initial relevant practical experience, preferably in chemical plant engineering
- Senior level: Several years of professional experience, preferably in chemical plant engineering
- Language skills: Very good knowledge of German and English
- Personality: Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and initiative
